2022/07/03: Shozui Takano, Deputy chief priest, retired from Mt.
Shozui Takano, deputy priest of the temple, has served Tōshō-ji for about five years, and at the end of June, he left the temple to return to Kōyasan.
We thank him for his long years of support and devotion to his duties as a priest, and wish him the best in his new position.

2022/12/1: Chief priest was resived an aword by the government.
Chief priest of this tenple has worked as a volunteer probation officer for a long time and he was recieved an aword(Zuihou-soukosho) by the government in the fall of 2021.
